Strengthen your career in Japan

About Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is a South Asian island nation in the Indian Ocean, with many hardworking and cooperative people, and a strong affinity with Japanese culture. The country has a traditional culture centered on Buddhism, and values such as respecting courtesy and consideration are common to Japan. In addition, there are many people with excellent skills in fields such as agriculture, construction, and the service industry, and they are considered to be highly suitable as technical intern trainees and specified skilled workers. They are highly motivated to learn Japanese and have the ability to adapt to the workplace, so we are confident that accepting Sri Lankans will contribute to the development of the workplace.

What is a Technical Intern Trainee?

A technical intern is someone who comes to Japan from abroad under Japan's "Technical Intern Training Program" and works for a certain period of time at a company or organization in Japan while learning skills and knowledge. The purpose of this program is to contribute Japanese technology and knowledge to the economic development of developing countries.

What is a Specified Skilled Worker ?

Specified skilled workers are foreign workers who have specialized knowledge and skills required in specific industrial fields under Japan's "Specified Skills System." This system was established in 2019 to make up for the labor shortage in Japan. Specified skilled workers have more advanced abilities and expertise than technical intern trainees and can engage in a wider range of work.

Eliminating the labor shortage

  • Work-ready human resources: This will help secure manpower in industries where there is a serious shortage of Japanese workers (construction, agriculture, nursing care, manufacturing, etc.). Specified skilled workers can handle more specialized work.

Promoting diversity in the workplace

  • Intercultural Exchange
Accepting foreign workers brings new values and excitement to the workplace.

  • Globalization
This will be an opportunity for future international expansion and to improve our ability to serve foreign customers.

Economic benefits

  • Cost-effective
Under both systems, it may be possible to employ foreign workers at a relatively lower cost than Japanese workers, provided that appropriate wages and benefits are provided.

Stable employment period

  • Technical intern trainee : Can be employed for up to 3 years

  • Specified skilled worker : Can be employed for up to 5 years (or indefinitely in some cases)

Furthermore, we have established a system that allows us to stably and continuously recruit individuals who possess a combination of technical skills, diligence, and a strong desire for self-improvement .

Furthermore, a large number of graduates will be produced in the 2026 academic year.

We already have a pool of excellent candidates looking to work in Japan.
